The Smell of Spring

Spring is finally here and that means time to change your perfume again, well at least for me. Every season I change me perfume and body sprays so I can have a different scent every season. For spring I like to go around smelling like a sweet flower or something fruity. Thats why Mark's (Avon's other cosmetic company for younger women) Citrus bloom perfume is my go to fragrance for this Spring. It smells like you just came out running from a big flower field, with hints of an alluring sweet smell that I can't explain. Best part is that since this was their big perfume last year I got it for more then half the price! Check it out here.

NOTW - Tiffany Box

This week I wanted some simple nails, since I will be re-doing them on Thursday for prom. But then I stummbled across this video on video and fell in love with the design. It's a cute Tiffany's inspired nail tutorial! "For Audrey" is one of my favorite nail polish China Glaze and is also my go to color for whenever I just need some color on my nails, so this design was very appropriate for this week.

I decided to just do the bow on both of my ring fingers and left the rest of the nails plain, but you can do whatever. Here is a closer look at the bow.

Check out the video below!

P.S. : I painted my walls after the color "For Audrey" too! If you did'nt notice.

Midnight Blogging

I'm currently listening to Panic! at the Disco's new album and trying to plan out my upcoming week. It is now 3 a.m. and I can not go to sleep so instead of laying on my bed and try to catch some zzz's I'm blogging. I'm wondering what I should focus mainly on this blog. I started a blog to promote MooeyAndFriends, my online etsy craft business, but some how I found other interests such as beauty stuff and fashion, which I've always had a passion with. But now I'm kinda of confused on what I should blog about. Should I just focus on one thing or should I do a evenly amount of each? What would you like to see?

1. Arts and Crafts - Upcoming porjects and sneak peeks at MooeyAndFriends's 2011 spring collection
2. Fashion - Such as daily outfits and trends, also hair and make up
3. Personal blogging - Kinda of like this
4. A mixture of everything above(kinda of leaning towards this one)

Please leave your feedback, I know I only have a few followers but I trying to start blogging every other day, hopefully I will start blogging everyday. But with MooeyAndFriends, school, and daily life stuff can sometimes slip my mind and I may forget to blog now and then and if I do I will eventually find a way back.

Well I'm about to jump into bed and will start with an early post on a very important subject about something coming up in my life this week. Til then night night!

Hope you enjoy!

Review - Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

Last week when I was looking through some April magazines something caught my eye. It was a face of a women, with what look like a pad on her face. It looked detachable so I lifted the pad up and there was an ad for the Biore deep cleansing pore strips. I've always heard mixed reviews on this product so I was unsure to purchase them. As I was looking around the page I saw a small white slip, above the slip were the words "try it" then I removed the slip and there it was a small sample for me to test the strips out.

So of course I tried the strip right away. It look like a tiny thin white pad with cut outs to put on around your nose. You are suppose to twist the pad so it can form the nose cut out. Then you remove the pad like a sticker and put it on top of your nose. Make sure to wet your nose a little first. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes so it can dry and harden and then peel off.

After 15 minutes passed I removed the strip and splashed warm water on my face. I always wanted to see what was on my nose its sounded cool/gross. I peeled the pad off and first thing I noticed was there was little to no pores on both my nose and the strip. I never really had a problem with pores in the first place but I did notice that I did some on my nose so thats why I wanted to try the cleansing strips out. Another thing I notice was that my nose did look really really clear, the pad only had like a few spects on it.

Overall the nose strip was a great first experience but clearly was not meant for people who have no pores on their nose. If you ever wanted to try this product just for the experience of peeling your pores off your face I would recommend either a or peel-off pore mask or try making your own pore strips. I would recommend these if you do have a lot of pores around your nose, because it got all of the few pores around my nose so it could shrink all or aa least some of them for you. Have any of you tried these out? If so did you like them?

Ombre Hair

This week I experienced the first sights of Spring, warm and cool outside buring hot inside! I love Spring because of the cute clothes you get to wear during spring, pastel nails, floral prints, and cute shorts. It seems like every year there is a big trend going on during Spring and this year I think it may be ombre hair.

Ombre hair is when you dye your bottom hair of your hair lighter than your top half. I've seen lots of celebrities with their hair like this. I'm going to get my hair cut soon and I was thinking of doing this but I'm not sure, my hair is naturally black and I've never dyed my hair before so I'm having doubts. What do you think of ombre hair? Is it a trend you'll be trying out?

DIY Dreamcatcher

When I first started blogging I intended to blog about my shop and other craftiness but now I rarely ever blog about anything having to do with that. So in honor of March(International craft month) I decided to pick up crafting again,on my blog that is. If you guys want to check out more of my crafty post just go back to my earlier posts like my 12 days of DIY, which ended up to be a pretty much disaster but hey I'm learning.

I've been seeing a lot of dreamercatchers lately, on shirts or as necklaces. And ever since then I've been craving a dreamcatcher. But I do not know where to get one? so insted of buying one I made one! I came across this video on Youtube that teaches you how to make a pretty decent one and its really easy. I wanted to make mine out of colorful yarn and I used a much smaller embroidery so I could hang it near my bed frame. I also topped the middle of my dreamcather with a little star I had and finished it with some colorful feathers. I'm not sure if it works but I hang it over my bed anyways and hope that my bad dreams will turn it to colorful ones.

NOTW - Ice Blue

This week's nail polish is by a brand I've never heard of called Kleancolor, in Ice Blue. One of my friends was wearing this polish on her nails and when I saw it I was overwhelmed by the boldness of the blue and let me borrow it. She said the bottle was only one dollar so I'm definitely going to check out more from Kleancolor.

Song of the Week: Going Crazy

This week's song of the week is Going crazy by Song Ji Eun ft. Bang Yong Kook. It sounds a lot like Love the Way You Lie by Eminem ft. Rihanna but in Korean. So if you like that song you'll love this one too!

Organize Your Life

So if your like me and love organization than you probably already have a day planner or organizer, but if you ever wanted a unique planner then the slingshot planner is the organizer for you. There are two different sizes a pocket and large version (I have the pocket version) and 16 different colors (mine is bright green) to choose from and some even have sliver ink! Also what makes this planner unique is that it has a pen like drawings all over the booklet, there are also special features such as radical dates for everday of the year and a menstrual calendar, haha. Anyways I'm seriously in love with this organizer and think you guys should check it out. They come out with one every year, its still early enough to get this one or you can always check out next year's.

NOTW - Going Dark

This week I'm wearing a more darker color on my nails, normally I'm not into darker shades especially when its almost Spring. But it was on sale at Ulta and its from OPI, one of my favorite nail polish brand, so I decided to buy it. Tease Y Does It(love the name) is a darker wine colored nail polish with red sparkles in it, dries to a creme finish. I think this color is better suited for the Fall rather then now, but I had it sitting at my nail polish collection waiting to be used so I decided to give it a chance. I actucally really like it but like I said its better suited for the Fall. What do you think about darker nail polish shades during the Spring and Summer?

Jewel Mint #2

So this is my second piece from Jewel Mint (See my first piece here). You can offically call me obsessed with Jewel Mint, I'm in awe over every piece of jewerly on their website. I've had my eye on this bracelet ever since I placed my last order. One thing I forgot to mention in my last post on Jewel Mint was when you buy a piece of jewerly from them you get a credit from them, which is another way to buy from the website. So last time I ordered from them I got a credit but I did'nt even notice! So its like getting two pieces for the price of one! You can also order more then one piece a month. I just might have to do that this month. If you guys like me to do more post from Jewel Mint let me know in the comments.

This is the Blazing Chain Bracelet it came in a velvet bag with a black envelope with this inside:

I love the fact that the three bracelets are all different and together they make a very unique piece of jewerly. The pink, yellow, and grey are a fabulous color combination and the cystal ball charm adds a little bit of elegance to the whole piece. There is also a cystal chain in the middle of the yellow part of the bracelet. I going to love wearing this during the spring/summer with flowly shirts and dresses.

If you have'nt already checked out Jewel Mint I really advise you too. They have all different types of jewerly for everybody. Plus the shipping is super fast I placed my order on monday and it came it today!
