When I first started listening to k-pop I thought that I would be listening to just a few songs little did I know that I was going to become one of those crazy fan girls. But I did especially for 2pm! They are the only boy groups that I am currently listening to and I am so glad I did! My younger sister got me into the music and then showed me the videos and thus I fell in love <3 The only problem is who do I love more JunHo or Wooyoung?
Love these two songs!

NOTD - Favorite new combo!
So I know that I do a NOTW(nails of the week) post every week but I'm kinda getting really board of that so now I'm just going to do random NOTD(nails of the day) post every time I do my nails. Anyways on to the rest of this blog post.

I found this really pretty light pink nail polish from forever 21 lying around the house and decided to swatch it first before removing my tribal nails and painting them yet again. After the first swipe of this dazzling pale pink color I fell in love and started to paint my nails this gorgeous shade. The color itself is very simple but at the same time very unique, its kind of a soft rose gold sort of color.

Later after I applied the second coat I had an idea of making an ombre color effect with this color so I took out some other nail polishes that I though would go great with this color. I tried roses, hot pinks, other light pinks, slivers, and then I used Zoya's GAIA and I fell in love with these two colors together. But instead of doing an ombre effect I just applied gaia over the light pink and thus this color came alive, I'm in awe over this color combination that I created, I never seen a color like this in nail polish form so if anyone knows a color like this or similar please let me know. But as of right now I'm just going to use these two colors until I run out of both of the bottles.

XOXO

NOTW - Tribal Print Nails

This week I wanted to get back into nail designs so I attempted to do a tribal design on my nails. I saw this picture a few months ago but wanted to wait until it was Summer to try this design out, because tribal is so in for Summer! Then I came across a video on Youtube on how to achieve the tribal print nails. I didn't follow the video because I wanted to just eyeball it but I posted down below incase any of you want to try it out. As you can see its not flawless but I'll try again next time.

July 2011 Birchbox
Yep! Its that time of the month again... Birchbox review!
I was very excited to hear that this month birchbox was going to have some of Cynthia Rowley favorite products! So once I got my bitchbox I was in awe! One thing I noticed that instead of their pinkish purple tissue paper they used a turquoise one, which matched my nails. By the way you can also get a limited edition gift box that contains exclusive samples such nail strips with a Cynthia Rowley design. You can get the box here, but be quick i think you can only get it this month.
The list of products
An overview of whats in the box
When i first opened my box i saw this small bottle of Philosophy's purity made simple one-step facial cleanser. This perennial award-winner is pH-balanced to gently clear away dirt, oil, and makeup without drying out skin. I've been wanting to try this product so I'm glad I get to try this out. I will make a review on this once I try it out.
The next product was hiding from me but it's ybf beauty's automatic eye brow pencil in universal taupe. A two-in-one brow-tamer: the comb brushes hairs into place, while the creamy pencil fills in sparse areas. I never heard of the company but this is so great! I've needed a new eyebrow pencil and this just came in time, and it comes with a handy little brush on the other end. I'm going to be making a post on my eyebrows soon, maybe next week?
Closer look at brush
The color is in universal taupe
I wonder whats inside???
This is the Korres little showergel in fig. A deliciously foamy body wash with aloe to keep skin soft long after you've toweled off and an exotically lush fragrance. I honesty do not like the smell, it smells like straight up fig and I don't like out-doorsy nature smells. However I am going to try this out because It says that its foamy and I do like foamy body washes, so if its any good I will post a review if not then oh well.
Last product is Redken's shine flash. A must for Cynthia's runaway shows, this weightless spray gives hair a brilliant sheen. Again it sounds like a great product but the smell of this spray is just so... yes I already tried it out and it does give your hair a nice sheen along with sort of a piec-y hair texture, which is lovely but the smell is horrible! The good part is that the smell does not stick so that's good. I'm going to play with this product more before I makeup my mind about it.
Along with all birchboxes they always include a little extra this one was no exception and it's a favorite of Cynthia Rowley! It is a KIND bar in the favor almond & apricot. Snack right with this wholesome bar - no preservatives or hard-to-pronounce ingredients. "They are my faves! I always have one in my bag just in case." - Cynthia Rowley and I must say that there my new faves as well! I read about what other birchboxers thought about this and most people didn't like it, I however love this bar it have a salty sort of sweet tasty to it and you can definitely taste the apricot juice in it...so good! You can get these bars at Starbucks which I can't wait to!
Anyways that was my birchbox hual. What did you get in your birchbox? and Did you like the KIND bar?

NOTW and review on Essie polish
First off I want to say that I'm finally back from California! So expect my regular post back this week. Also I will be posting some pictures of my trip later this week so keep your eyes out for that.

During the summer most people tend to switch to bright colors, whether its clothes or even your nails. I'm not a seasonal girl when It comes to nail polish but while I was at Walmart the over day I noticed that they had Essie polish(yeah I know, who knew?) so decided to get one but which color I wondered? I did however recognize some of the names from their last year resort collection so I thought one of these would be perfect for the summer. I ended up picking Turquoise & Caicos because I've seen lots of pictures of this color and its absolutely gorgeous! It is a mix of turquoise with a few drops of green. It kinda of reminds me of China Glaze's for Audrey but if it had green in it. Either way this color reminds me of soft calm water in an island off in the middle of nowhere.

This is my first Essie polish that I've ever tried so I wanted to do a mini review on what my first thoughts were of it. Fist off I think that 8 dollars for a nail polish is a bit too much especially for one that looks small. However the nail brush is perfect not too big, such as OPI's, or to long, like China Glaze's, it's great and covers the nail perfectly and made the application a lot easier. The color was surprisingly sheer so I did have to add a few more coats then I usually do(4 coats). I do not know how long it will last, I haven't seen any chips yet but I will inform you if I do. Would I purchase an Essie polish again? Maybe, as long if its a pretty color.
