Forever 21 Haul

I recently did some shopping at Forever 21 and thought I would do a nice little haul for you guys showing you guys what I got.

This is a coral (but it looks more like a strawberry red in the picture) crop top with black polka dots and a crisscross on the back. It also has a slight high-low hem but it's not that noticeable.

I got this top from Forever 21's Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale. This is a electric blue leopard shirt with purple spots. It also has a high-low hem but this one is more noticeable then the other one.

A light orange ruffle top. I don't have any orange tops so I got this top in orange but they also have it in other colors.

This is the other item I got from the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale. It's a cream white cardigan with a lace back. It's kind of strange because the back of the cardigan rides up a little as you can see in the picture.

Just one of the Forever 21 tank tops for under $5. Picking out tank tops at Forever 21 can be kind of tricky (Some are perfect and others are bleh) but this one is perfect! It's comfy and long enough for me (Below the belly and stops around my thighs). I need to get more of these!

Just like tank tops real good leggings are kind of hard to find but these leggings are very comfortable and cozy.

I saw a pair of nude sunglasses at H&M just like these a few months ago but I didn't get them and regretted not getting them. But I saw these at Forever 21 and had to get them!

A double gold necklace with a few flowers, perfect for Summer!

I got this green tea sheet mask for about a dollar. They also have some other scents like honey, watermelon, rose, etc. but I got green tea because I love green tea! I will write a review once I've tried this out.

Last but not least is this adorably cute pink kitten hand mirror. You probably already saw this kitty hand mirror from my weekend update last week.

NOTD: Candy Leopard Print

Finally I'm doing a nails of the day post! I felt like I haven't done one of these in ages! Anyways one of my favorite type of designs to do is leopard print because it's so eas, fast and I always get lots of compliments on my nails. This time instead of doing the regular leopard print I thougtht it would be fun to play with fun bright colors so I used a bright baby blue for the background and a candy pink color for the spots then I outlined the spots with black lines to create the leopard spots and viola!

Pink, Kittens, and Kpop! (6/24/12)

My order from Yesasia finally came in earlier this week! I was so excited because my special edition Still Alive copy from BIGBANG came in it! I've been listening to this all week!

This is the butterfly sleep mask, it took forever to get all the detail exactly right but it was worth it in the end. You can purchase this mask here.

Today when I was at the mall I saw this adorable kitty hand mirror at Forever 21 and of course I HAD to get it and it was only $1!

MooeyAndFriends Shop Update!

I FINALLY updated my shop! I added four new sleep masks designs and two iPod touch 4 cases/cozies. I am  also thinking about putting up a made to order option for the cases/cozies so that you can choose whatever color, animal, and device you want but I'm still a bit hesitant. I saw this photo shot through tumblr and fell in love! This reminds me of fun Summer days with fashionable bathing suits and lots of sweets (especially cool treats like ice cream)! I love everything about this shot the colors, outfits, scenery, colors, etc. truly inspiring.

MooeyAndFriends Update

  

Just wanted to update you guys with some MooeyAndFriends news. So first off this is a mini cartoon that I made for my customers so for now on anyone who orders something from MooeyAndFriends will receive this cute comic as a freebie! I use to send greeting cards with each order but I wanted something more related to MooeyAndFriends so I made this little cartoon explaining how MooeyAndFriends got it's name. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Also I am planning on making a mini zine with these sorts of cartoons in it and tons of other fun stuff. If you have any suggestions of what I should add in the zine feel free to leave a comment down below.

This is a butterfly sleep mask I made for my shop update, which I promise will be up by this weekend! What do you guys think of it? I put a lot of detail in it which took some time but I loved the end result.

My Favorite Photo Apps

Since Summer is just around the corner you probably want to capture some photos while your on vacation and/or spending time with loved ones so today I will be showing you guys some of my favorite photography apps for you iphone, ipad,or ipod that will make your Summer a lot more memorable.

Magic Hour

Magic hour is probably my favorite app (Next to instagram)because you can create your own filters and save them for later or you can download some pre-made filters by other people, it's really cool!

Snapeee

Snapeee is really cute app that allows you to add some stickers and lots of cute things to your photos. This reminds me of those Japanese photo booths but portable!

TOMOTO

I just found about this one a few days ago so I haven't had that much time to play with it but it's still really cute! TOMOTO is a lot like Snapeee but this one is more for self portraits.

Pic Stitch

I use Pic Stitch when I need to add more then one photo in a picture. Pic Stitch is a all in one app it has filters, fonts, and tons of other cool effects.

Phonto

Phonto allows you to add writing to your photos and has hundreds of different fonts to choose from, it's really hard to choose just one!

Most of these apps are free so I would suggest you to try all of these out and if you like one keep it and snap away all summer long!

Review: BENTA BERRY G-1 Moisturizing Face Cream

I have so many products that I've tried the past couple of months so expect some reviews the next few weeks. Anyways for today I will be reviewing the G-1 face cream by a new brand to me called BENTA BERRY. I was wondering through the Birchbox website looking for a new moisturizer because mine had ran out I then saw this one and fell in love with the bottle. I read some reviews online about this product but most people either loved it or hated it but I bought in the end anyways.

What it claims to do: Regulate skin oil levels, purify skin, reduce breakouts and redness, and leaves skin soft and matte.

After using this product for about a month here were my results. For the first few day it only moisturized my skin and that was about all but after a week or two my skin started to break out with mini red pimples all over my face! However I only got a few pimples and those pimples only got worse the more I used this moisturizer (But no new pimples appeared).

Pros:
- I liked the smell. It smelled like fresh berries but wasn't strong and it faded after a while.
- Cute packing. The main reason I choose this moisturizer to try out was because of the tube.
- Left my face matte (but not for long).

Cons:
- Broke me out
- Expensive
- Didn't leave my skin soft.
- Hard to find
- Hard to dissolve into skin
- Very small! I thought it would be the size of my Smooth Moves hair cream but it was like the size of a sample bottle, which makes me wonder how big the Birchbox sample size was.

Overall I hated this product. I wouldn't recommend this because 1. It costs too much, 2. The size is small, and 3. It didn't do anything that it claimed to do, so do not buy this!

Cute Weekend (6/17/12)

This is my first ever zine that I purchased. It's from Pinksugarichigo, it's completely adorable! You guys can purchase your own here. Do any of you know of any more cute zines like this one that I NEED to purchase?

I went to this new store today where they sell a ton of stuff for 5 dollars or less and saw these panda snacks. Of course I had to get them!

Picked up this new moisturizer by Olay since the BENTA BERRY G -1 one broke me out like crazy! I heard some good reviews on this one so I decided to pick it up. Have any of you guys tried this moisturizer out before? Is it any good?

Started making some Summer plans but nothing is set in stone yet. Yesterday I started making some new sleep masks designs, tomorrow I plan on finishing some of them and maybe posting them up on Wednesday or Thursday. This week went by kind of slow, but it's finally over.
